Taison’s sweet side-footer
Taison’s goal against NFC Volos at the Panthessaliko Stadium was chosen by the voting public of paokfc.gr as the Regency Casino Best Goal of September.
NFC Volos reduced teh deficit to 2-1 in the 56th minute and PAOK were looking for another goal to seal the three points. And four minutes later it was Taison’s moment that delivered it.
Tarik Tissoudali collected the ball just outside the box, considered his options, and sent over a perfect cross to the Brazilian, who with an excellent placed effort sent the ball into the bak of the net to make it 3-1.
Taison’s strike garnered 52% of the votes in the poll and earned the Brazilian the award for the Regency Casino Best Goal of the Month for September.
In second place and within breathing distance was Mady Kamara with a «buzzer beater» goal against Atromitos in Peristeri, while Thomas Murg completed the podium with the goal he scored in the same game against NFC Volos after a flawless team effort.
