Dominik Kotarski is the first candidate. In Sweden against Malmö the Croatian goalkeeper was decisive with his saves, with the most impressive one coming in the second minute of the match. Nanasi fired in a shot at close range but Mr Fantastic reacted in a flash, parrying the ball and keeping PAOK in the game.
Our next contender is Kiril Despodov . In the 50th minute against Panetolikos, Mady Kamara played the ball to the right of Despodov , and the Bulgarian executed a flawless cross into the heart of the opponent’s penalty area to pick out Sastre who made it 1-0 for PAOK with a header.
Last but not least… Stefan Schwab . In the game against Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght Stadium the Austrian produced a wonderful assist. Kostantelias passed to Mr Effective in the central midfield area. He received the ball, turned towards the opponent’s goal and with an amazing through-ball with the outside of his foot he sent Despodov clean through on goal, and his teammate scored with a slick finish to make it 2-0 to PAOK.
