PAOK Academy appoint new technical director
PAOK anounces that Vassilis Mittas is hte new technical director of the PAOK Academy.
Vassilis Mittas has been a football coach in the PAOK youth system since 2008. From 2013 he took over as technical manager in the Under-6 to Under-14 age groups, in the 2015-16 season he was called upon to replace Vladan Ivić in the Under-20s, in the 2016-17 season he was the technical director at the academy, while he was also the coach of the Under-15 and Under-17 teams. He then left PAOK to take over as technical manager of Omonia’s youth setup. He returned in the 2021-22 season participating as a member of the Under-19 technical staff, and along the way took over the Under-14 and Under-16 teams.
He is a graduate of TEFAA with a master’s degree in human performance and health with a focus on School Physical Education, but also on physical activity and quality of life. He also holds a UEFA Pro football coaching diploma.
He is married and the father of two children.
