A. Zivkovic was born in Nis, Serbia, on July 11, 1996. He joined the academies of his local side Nacional and with his performances he managed to impress the scouts from the country’s major clubs. Partizan signed him in 2009, initially for their development squad.

He made his debut with the first team on April 28, 2013 against Novi Pazar. In August of the same year he signed his first professional contract, while two days later he found the net for the first time.

He immediately found a role in the team, became a key player and went so far as to wear the captain’s armband and become the youngest captain in the history of the club.

At the same time, the young player was a major cog in Serbia’s Under-20 team that won the 2015 World Cup, while earlier he had managed to become the youngest player to play for the country’s senior men’s national team when Sinisa Mihajlovic gave him the opportunity in a friendly game against Japan.

With Partizan, up until February 2016 he made 93 appearances, scoring 24 goals, and contributing 13 assists, while also winning two league championships and a Serbian Cup in the process.

In July 2016Benfica came calling and acquired his services. He stayed in Portugal for four years, playing 88 times while scoring four goals and producing 24 assists. He won two league titles and a Portuguese Cup at the same time. During this time there he also became a key member of the Serbia national team and played in the 2018 World Cup.

The Double-headed Eagle moved quickly and methodically to make A. Zivkovic a resident of Thessaloniki in the summer of 2020.

In four seasons with PAOK, Zile has played in 190 games, scored 47 goals and dished out 40 assists, while he has also one one Greek Cup in the 2020-21 season and a league championship in the 2023-24 season.
