Tsiftsis joins PAOK
PAOK announces the acquisition of Antonis Tsiftsis from Asteras Tripoli. The Greek goalkeeper signed a contract with the club until 30.06.2028 and will wear the number 99 shirt.
Antonis Tsiftsis , born in Giannitsa on July 21, 1999, attracted attention from an early age at the Asteras Tripolis academies. The Greek goalkeeper made his professional debut in a 4–0 home win against Platanias on 2 April 2018. Since then, Tsiftsis has made 54 appearances and kept 18 clean sheets for the Arcadians.
He has played for the Greece Under-17 and Under-18 national youth teams four times, keeping two clean sheets, while in July 2023, he was loaned out to Rakov, returning to Asteras in January 2024.
Tsiftsis is PAOK’s choice to strengthen the team’s goalkeeping options, with the Greek shot stopper accepting the club’s proposal until 2028.
