The fantastic Mr. Kotarski
Dominik Kotarski’s improbable save from Pineda’s shot in the derby against AEK at Toumba Stadium was voted PAOK TV Play of the Month for April by all of you.
PAOK started strongly in the title derby with AEK at the Toumba, and took the lead, but The Union reacted. They levelled matters via Pineda and tried to build on their momentum to take the lead. But they did not count on Dominik Kotarski .
The international Croatian goalkeeper justified his title of Mr.Fantastic. In the 19th minute, Eliasson produced an excellent ball, Pineda fired in a shot from inside the six-yard box, but Kotarski was there to deny him. It was an instinctive save by the goalkeeper, who will ennoy watching that highlight video for many years to come.
Kotarski’s save garnered him 46.64% of the public vote and saw him top the poll for April’s PAOK TV Play of the Month, after a tough battle with our team’s two left-footed central defenders.
In second place was the amazing block by Koulierakis on Jonsson in the penalty area, while the podium was completed by Giannis Michailidis for the goal he scored against Lamia at the Toumba.
