Preparations for the last «final» of finals begins
PAOK succeeded. Against everyone and the odds. Despite finding themselves with their backs to teh wall a few times, with an improbable schedule in the finale, teh club have won three derbies in a row and now hold their fate in their hands. One more challenge remains. A match at the “Kleanthis Vikelidis” Stadium against Aris, the result of which will decide whether or not PAOK are crowned champions.
PAOK started their preparations in earnest on Thursday afternoon (16.05) in Nea Mesimvria. The players who were in the starting XI of the match against Panathinaikos followed a recovery and rehabilitation program in the swimming pool and the gym.
The rest of the squad went out on the training pitches and worked with the coach on tactics, while they also played out a friendly match at the end.
Thomas Murg limped out of the previous game with ankle problems. The Austrian underwent treatment and his condition will be assessed daily.
On Friday (17.05) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
