The match did not provide much as a spectacle for the first 45 minutes. The play was mainly within the midfield areas, with both teams appearing threatening from time to time, but without registering any major chances. Perhaps the exception was on 36 minutes when the visitors hit the crossbar through Insaldo’s shot.

What the first half did not give, the second half offered in abundance. Triglia took the lead in the 66th minute via Gbenion, but PAOK B found the answer in the 73rd minute with a direct free-kick by Grosdis. And while everything seemed to suggest the opposite, the match yielded two more goals. In the 92nd minute, Kousta gave the visitors the lead again, but in the fourth minute of added time Grosdis sent over a free-kick into the box and Darelas flicked the header on for Panidis to score to make it 2-2. It should be noted that Arroyo was also sent off with a straight red card.

PAOK B: Monastirlis, Deligiannis, Tasiouras, Panagiotou, Giaxis (46′ Kottas), Tsopouroglou, Goumas (78′ Tsikos), Rumiantsev (58′ Spyrakos), Grosdis, Smyrlis (58′ Darelas), Kanis (58′ Panidis).

Triglia: Vellidis, Kostopoulos, Vitlis, Gbenion, Ciutas, Embo, Doiranlis, Arroyo, Isnaldo (80′ Patralis), Spyridis (80′ Germus), Kousta.
