PAOK B record important win
PAOK B picked up three valuable points after prevailing 1-0 against Kabaniakos at the Efkarpia stadium on Matchday 6 of the Super League 2 Play Outs. The Double-headed Eagle are now on 27 points and the next matchday sees them visit Aridaia to play against Aeolikos.
There were plenty of nerves which resulted in a tense first-half. Therefore, chances were at a premium for both sides, with PAOK B however being clearly more energetic and threatening. In the 35th minute, Spyrakos crossed from the right with the ball ending up in the net for 1-0.
The Double-headed Eagle’s second string were again the more upwardly mobile team in the second half. And apart from not being in any danger of conceeding a goal, they also contrived to miss several opportunities to score a second goal. On 51 minutes Goumas was the guilty player to miss, and in the 61st minute and 76th minute it was Grosdis. Nothing changed until the final whistle with PAOK B getting an important three points.
