Valuable win for PAOK B
PAOK B returned to winning ways on Sunday (14.04) in Efkarpia, beating Anagennisi Karditsa 2-0 on Matchday 5 of the play outs.
The Double-headed Eagle’s second string added three valuable points to their tally, moving on to 24 points, which kept them at the top of the table. The next game is a home clash with Kabaniakos.
PAOK B started well and went ahead in the ninth minute through Kanis, who scored on the rebound after the opposing goalkeeper’s initial save from Darelas’ shot. The game then leveled out with the visitors pressing at times, but not particularly threatening the home goal.
The truth is that the second half also passed by without any particular spectacular football or anxiety. In the 80th minute, PAOK B «locked up» the match with a goal from Goumas, who took advantage of Tsopouroglou’s assist. It should be noted that just before the end of the match, Anagennisi also hit the woodwork after a save from Balomenos.
