Operation: Bruges
PAOK left the OPAP Arena with a crucial point and now turn their full attention to the European matches against Club Brugge int he quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League. The first mission is the first-leg battle in Belgium.
The Double-headed Eagle is preparing to travel to Bruges for the first match with Club Brugge. On Tuesday (09.04) the squad was divided into two groups. The players who were in the starting lineup against AEK followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the pitch, in the gym and the swimming pool. The rest worked with the coaches on ball possession and circulation in limited spaces, while in the finale the players played a friendly match.
Taison trained normally with his teammates. Nasberg worked individually, while William Troost-Ekong did some physiotherapy and a program in the gym.
On Wednesday (09.04) PAOK will train at 12:00 in Nea Mesimvria, with the program open for 15 minutes for media representatives and then at noon they will depart on a charter flight from Macedonia Airport to Belgium. At 20:30 Greek time, Razvan Lucescu’s pre-game press conference will be held at the Jan Breydel Stadium. Rahman Baba will represent the players.
