Among the major protagonists was Stefan Schwab . The Austrian came on in the 65th minute and managed to make the difference. In the 70th minute, he scored with an amazing shot from outside the penalty area, making it 2-1, while in the 88th minute, he executed a perfect penalty to lock up the points.

In the voting for the Fans’ Man of the Match, Schwab collected 50.53% of the votes and won the award.

In second place was Giannis Michailidis, who was flawless in his defensive play and was the man who equalized for PAOK with a powerful header in stoppage time at the end of the first half, while the podium was completed by Ali Samatta who has been constantly improving his performances in recent games, and now seems to be finding his form. The Tanzanian striker was also the player who won the penalty that led to the the 3-1 final score against Lamia.
