Regrouping in view of the return leg
It was a bade night, which everyone at the club must leave firmly behind them. PAOK started their Stoiximan Super League Play Offs campaign badly with a defeat, and now everyone in the Double-headed Eagle camp is focusing on the European challenge ahead.
PAOK are called upon to regroup and prepare for Thursday’s (14.03, 19:45) «final» against Dinamo Zagreb. The preparation for the crucial clash with the Croats began on Monday (11.03) afternoon in Nea Mesimvria.
The players who were in the starting XI against Aris followed a recovery and rehabilitation program out on the training pitch, in the swimming pool and in the gym.
The rest of the squad worked with the technical staff, initially on tactical aspects and then they played a friendly match.
Ali Samatta resumed full training with the squad, while Joan Sastre and William Troost-Ekong underwent treatments, and finally Giannis Michailidis also underwent treatment and did a short workout program on the training pitch.
On Tuesday (12.03) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
