PAOK B recorded a comfortable victory over Niki Volos, defeating the Magnesia side 4-0 in the last match of the regular season of the Super League 2. However, due to Makedonikos’ draw with AEK B, the Double-headed Eagle will now continue in the Play Outs.
The match started ideally for PAOK B, as essentially in the first chance of the match, Kanis sent over a cross-shot and Darelas scored from close range to make it 1-0. There were no further big chances during the rest of the first half, with PAOK B managing the game well as Niki Volos tried to find an equalizer, albeit without really threatening.
PAOK B began the second 45 minutes as strongly as they did the first, with the pressure paying off in the 55’=th minute when, after Kanis’ corner kick, Filon headed home to make it 2-0. In the 86th minute, the score was extended to three goals with a shot by Shapovalov which found the net and finally, in stoppage time, Bradonic made the final score 4-0, following Tsikos’ assist, and after Panidis had previously been denied by the post.
