Konstantelias’ masterpiece
Konstantelias’ sumptuous strike against Panserraikos was chosen by the voting public via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App as January’s Regency Casino Best Goal.
A goal that was pure poetry in both creation and execution. A magical ball in behind the opposing defense from Andrija Zivkovic , incredible control with his heel and a flawless finish by Ioannis Konstantelias.
The result is more or less expected. Not that his placed effort against NFC Volos at the Panthessaliko Stadium was not just as gorgeous, but the magical play overall against Panserraikos was a thing of unique quality.
The young Greek attacking midfielder therefore collected 30.08% of the votes in the poll and won the individual award.
His goal against Volos won second place, and the podium was completed by Kiril Despodov with his goal against Panathinaikos at Toumba Stadium.
