- Since the 1959-60 season, when the Greek top flight was established, 71 matches have been played between Olympiacos and PAOK with the Piraeus team as the home side, with 49 victories for the Red and Whites, 13 for the Double-headed Eagle, and nine draws.
- PAOK have won the last two games in the regular season at the Karaiskakis, in 2022-23 by a 2-1 scoreline and in 2023-24 with a 4-2 result. In their last 10 visits to Piraeus in the regular season of the championship, PAOK have four wins and one draw, compared to Olympiacos’ five victories.
- On July 12, 2020, PAOK prevailed 1-0 thanks to Mihaj’s goal and deprived Olympiacos of an unbeaten league championship, since no other team in the Super League had managed to beat them until then.
- PAOK, in their first visit in the history of the top flight to Olympiacos, came away with the victory, thanks to the goals of Symeonidis (38′), Havanidis (42′), while the home team had taken the lead with Polychroniou (31′) on target. In fact, PAOK were not defeated in their first three matches against Olympiacos, since in their second visit to the Karaiskakis they drew 1-1 (49′ Yfantis – 89′ Vassiliadis).
- PAOK’s biggest victory at Olympiacos was on January 4, 1976 via a 4-0 result, where goals from Terzanidis (24′), Koudas (56′, 63′) and Guerino (78′) marked the triumph in a year where the club were also crowned champions.
- On February 23, 2003, Pantelis Kafes found the net three times in PAOK’s 4-3 defeat in Rizoupoli and he is the only PAOK player to have scored a hat- trick in an away game against Olympiacos.
- Olympiacos had 17 unbeaten matches in the championship at their renovated Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium (15 wins, two draws) until PAOK’s second visit there on October 16, 2005. With two goals by Pantelis Konstantinidis , PAOK responded perfectly to Yaya Toure’s free-kick, took the victory and at the same time broke the home side’s undeafeated streak.
- Giorgos Koudas is the player who has scored three goals in away matches with Olympiacos and has four more in matches where PAOK was the home team. Overall, in both grounds, he is at the top, together with Afentoulidis, Skartados, while Sarafis has six goals.
