- Last year, PAOK prevailed 2-0 in the home match during the regular season, while contest in the Play Offs ended with a 1-0 victory for AEK 1-0. In the 2021-22 season, PAOK again prevailed 2-0 during the regular season while the Play Offs match ended in a 1-1 draw.
- After 6 consecutive games against AEK without defeat at home in all competitions, PAOK were defeated in last year’s Play Offs. This was the first defeat since July 1, 2020, when AEK again had prevailed in the Play Offs.

Christos Dimopoulos in the 1982-83 season, a player who enjoyed a great record against ΑΕΚ in both the league and the Greek Cup leads the way. Indeed, a hat-trick and another strike in the 1984-85 season make him the leading scorer in home matches against AEK, along with Stavros Sarafis and Neto Guerino. From their side, ΑΕΚ’s top scorers are Blanco and Nestoridis, both of whom hit the net four times in matches against PAOK in Thessaloniki.
- Vasilis Vasilakakos is the only player οwho has scored at the Toumba for both clubs. He did it three times in a PAOK shirt and once with ΑΕΚ.
