- This is the 30th time that PAOK will play host to PAS Ioannina in a league match, with the previous 29 matches having ended with 20 wins for the Double-headed Eagle, five wins for PAS, while there have been four draws.
- Only one of those 29 matches has not seen a goal scored, that was on December 11, 1983 in the goalless draw at the Toumba. The other three draws between the two clubs were 1-1.
- After a streak of seven consecutive home and away wins, PAOK were defeated 1-0 by PAS in the premiere of the 2021-22 championship at the Toumba, thus ending a streak that had began with a 1-0 victory in Epirus on January 23, 2017.
