Sluggish in the first 20 minutes, PAOK B, perhaps influenced by the quick goal conceded in the fifth minute via Papasterianos, were unable to assert their game onto their opponents. Of course, they did create some chances at the other end, notably sfter the half-hour mark, and had two dangerous chances through Panagiotou in the 36th minute and Darelas in the 38th minute, but neither could score.
And while in the second half PAOK B did look more determined, getting closer to the opposition goal, they showed a lack of composure. The result was that Kabaniakos threatened on dangerous counter-attacks with Talichmanidis, however, making saves on at least three occasions. From a set-piece, however, the home side made it 2-0 in the 51st minute with Bousi’s header. PAOK’s second string failed to react and suffered a defeat that leaves them stuck on 16 points.
