Suahlio Meite is our first candidate. In the game against Helsinki at Toumba Stadium, the French midfielder took on any opponent he found in front of him, combined beautifully with Taison, and then with a perfect pass, found Ozdoev in the area, who finished powerfully to make it 1-1 .
The next candidate is Taison. The Brazilian winger has been delightful in December and in addition to being nominated for the MVP of the month award, he is also in the running for Play of the Month. In the same game against Helsinki we saw another perfect combination, with Murg and Taison playing a one-two, with the Austrian then making it 4-1 with an exemplary finish from the his Brazilian teammate’s excellent pass.
We close up the contest with a wonderful piece of play. In the game against Kifissia, Kiril Despodov carried the ball down the right wing, skipped past three opponents and then produced an amazing through ball. The recipient was Brandon , who was sent through one-on-one with home ‘keeper Anagnostopoulos and finished confidently to make it 2-1 to PAOK.
