Return to domestic duties
European commitments for the first half of the 2023-24 season have been completed with PAOK celebrating a well-deserved top spot in their group, along with a number of historic achievements. Europe, however, remains on the sidelines for the coming months. The action in the Stoiximan Super League begins again and PAOK aim to continue their winning streak.
Razvan Lucescu’s team are preparing for the upcoming «battle» in Tripoli against Asteras. Just several hours after the victory over Helsinki, the squad gathered in Nea Mesimvria and rolled up their sleeves, in view of the trip to the «Theodoros Kolokotronis».
The players who were in the starting XI in the European match followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the training pitch, in the gym and the swimming pool.
The rest of the group, after warming up and playing some possession games, played out a high intensity friendly.
Andrija Zivkovic followed an individual program on the training pitch.
On Saturday (16.12) PAOK will train at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria before departing from Macedonia Airport bound for Tripoli in the afternoon.
