PAOK achieved its goal at Toumba Stadium against NFC Volos and took the first step towards qualifying for the next phase of the Betsson Greek Cup. Although it was not an easy game, the Double-headed Eagle managed to win 1-0 in the end.

The main protagonists for Razvan Lucsescu’s side were Ioannis Konstantelias and Stefan Schwab . Mr. Breeze was outstanding in yet another game, running, creating and tormenting the opposing defense.

Ad on Schwab’s part, it was the Austrian who converted the penalty won by Kiril Despodov to seal teh win, while also being generally dominant in the midfield.

In the polll for the Fans’ Man of the Match, Konstantelias received 39.6% of the votes and that was enough to see him pick up another individual award – and for the second time in a row in as many games, with Schwab in second place.
