Coastal cleanup with the academy players

There are always occasions for actions and awareness among young people. This time the PAOK Academy, through PAOK Action, and specifically our Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 players carried out a coastal cleanup on a beach in Thessaloniki in collaboration with the environmental organization iSea.

20.11.2023

The PAOK yoiungsters were informed by the organization’s officials about their actions and received instructions about coastal cleaning. The waste collected exceeded a total of 26 kg.

The purpose of the action was on the one hand to clean the beach of waste, and on the other hand to raise awareness among the athletes and society at large about the protection of aquatic ecosystems.

The aquatic environment as a valuable resource should be protected and restored in order to maintain biodiversity and ensure its vital functions that contribute to a clean, healthy and productive environment.
