Vote for September’s MVP
A month which did not start well after a defeat in Heraklion and a draw at the Toumba with Aris, concluded in the best way possible with a series of three wins. It’s time to find the most valuable player of September via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App.
The first candidate is Konstantinos Koulierakis. The young defender has been in excellent form at the start of the season and has developed into a key player for Razvan Lucescu’s side. Excellent in his defending duties, with a cool head and the knack of making key interventions, he is also impressive up the other end of hte field, finding the net twice last month against HJK Helsinki and NFC Volos.
The next contender is Taison. As he says himself, at PAOK he has found his smile again and his love for the game. And as such, he continues to make sure to bring all of the above out on the pitch and be a star player for the Double-headed Eagle. In September, he handed out three assists, tormented every opposing defense in his path, and demonstrated passion and quality on the pitch.
The MVP of July/August, Andrija Zivkovic, could also not be left out of this conversation. The Serbian has had a fantastic start to the season, continues to score goals, is always full of non-stop running up and down the pitch, helping out in all areas, and is undoubtedly one of the team’s leaders. His highlight for September was the wonderful goal he scored against PAS in Ioannina.
