Despite having to soak up some severe pressure in the first half against Panathinaikos, PAOK managed to take the lead in the 19th minute, before Palacios levelled matters in the 32nd minute. In the second half PAOK looked much more focused, took control of the game by going in front again in the 58th minute. However, the Double-headed Eagle had to settle for a point when the home side levelled again in the last seconds of added time.

Brandon Thomas was one of the top performers on the night. The Spanish forward scored in yet another game and was a joy to watch. He pressed, he put in the running, and fought countless battles with opposing defenders. He was there to win second balls, and also had a wonderful shot which unfortunately ended up hitting the crossbar, and in general he put in a performance full of passion, intensity, and of course substance.

And in the poll for the Fans’ Man of the Match, it was Brandon who collected 24.88% of the vote to win the individual award.

A breath away from Brandon was Taison, with another great game under his belt, while the podium was completed by A.Zivkovic, who was the creator of the first goal and the scorer of the second.
