Under-17s defeat Aris 2-0 in premiere
With more comfort than the final 2-0 scoreline suggests, PAOK’s Under-17 side claimed all three points from the match against Aris in their opening match of the 2023-24 Super League championship.
Although the first 45 minutes saw PAOK dominating, with the Double-headed Eagle having an overwhelming share of possession, good ball circulation, and several good chances, the goal did not come.
But PAOK were even more determined in the second half, and they opened the scoring in the 61st minute through Mythos, after a nice ball from Bataoula. And in the 88th minute, Theophilou added the second to make it 2-0.
