Preparations for the first friendly test
It was an especially demanding second day of training in Techelen, with double training sessions at the training center beside the team’s hotel.
The morning training session started with fitness exercises with the footballers working on sprinting. Razvan Lucescu then stepped into the action, directing proceedings through a tactical friendly match.
In the afternoon, the training program was reminiscent of the eve of a matchday, with the team focusing on possession, ball movement and set pieces, with the upcoming friendly against Steaua Bucharest taking center stage.
Tuesday’s session closed with a friendly clash mainly practicing tactical aspects.
A. Živković and Kostandelias were left out of some parts of the training sessions, in the context of their inclusion in the rhythms of the rest of the group.
On Wednesday (05.07) PAOK face Steaua Bucharest at 19:30 Greek time in the first friendly test on Dutch soil.
