International call-ups and fixtures

An action packed start to the summer is on the agenda for PAOK’s international players. Read in detail about the players called upon for their national team and the upcoming fixtures.

Konstantinos Koulierakis and Giannis Konstantelias are in the ranks of Greece’s national team for two matches in June as their attempt to qualify from Group B for EURO 2024. The Greeks face Ireland on 16.06 (20:45 ) at the OPAP Arena and France on 19.06 (21:45) at the Stade de France.

Andrija Živković is already in Serbia in view of the friendly match against Jordan (16.06) and the EURO 2024 qualifier against Bulgaria (20.06).

After a two-year absence, Ingi Ingason is back in Iceland’s squad for the games against Slovakia (17.06) and Portugal (20.06), both of which are for the qualifying phase of EURO 2024.

Dominik Kotarski will also feature in the EURO Under-21 championship finals, which will be held in Romania and Georgia from 21.06 to 08.07. The Croatians face Ukraine (21.06), Spain (24.06) and Romania (27.06) in the group stage.

In the same competition, the captain of Portugal’s Under-21 side Thiago Dantas will lead the team against Georgia (21.06), the Netherlands (24.06) and Belgium (27.06).

Also, Diego Biseswar is with the Suriname national team for the match against Puerto Rico on June 20, in a knockout game for the Gold Cup.

As for the younger players, Dimitris Monastirlis, Zisis Tsikos, Lefteris Tasiouras, Nikos Spyrakos, Dimitris Kottas, Haris Georgiadis, Konstantinos Goumas, Nikos Deligiannis, Yiannis Gitersos, and Stefanos Tzimas are already in Athens for the first stage of their preparations (12-16.06) in view of the Greece Under-19 side’s bid for glory at EURO 2023. The tournament remember takes place in Malta (03-16.07) and Greece have been pitted against Iceland, Norway and Spain in their initial group.

Ermis Selimaj is also with the Albania Under-21 national team from 12 to 21.06, including for the friendly game against Bulgaria on June 20.

Finally, just a few days ago, Konstantinos Balomenos, Panagiotis Panagiotou and Dimitris Tsopouroglou participated in the Greece Under-21 side’s training camp.
