It was a game with plenty of dynamism on show from both teams, with the ball largely played in midfield as both sides tried to threaten. In the last quarter of the first half, Anagenisi pressed more, but PAOK B goalkeeper Talichmanidis reacted as he should.

It was a similar picture in the second half, with PAOK B being in control, but not finding their way to the net. Until the 80th minute, four minutes after coming off the bench, Kyriakos Giaxis made it 1-0 to the visitors with a great piece of individual play and a powerful shot. It was the second goal in succession for the PAOK B midfielder. Three minutes later, the Double-headed Eagle essentially locked up the match when Tsaousis doubled the advantage, taking the ball from Bradonijć after some fine work down the left. The hosts managed to reduce teh deficit with a consolation goal in stoppage time.
