Razvan Lucescu’s team got off to a perfect start to the post season, beating Aris away from home and reducing the gap at the top.

Giannis Kargas was one of the key men for the Double-headed Eagle on the night. The PAOK central defender was called upon to fill the gap left by the injury to Ingi Ingason and he did excellently. He won every duel he fought, showed composure, and passion, and was instrumental in bringing about a very important three-point haul for his team.

And in the poll for the Fans’ Man of the Match this time there was a «derby». Apart from Kargas, Stefan Schwab also produced an excellent performance. The Austrian came off the bench, and helped swing the game in favour of PAOK, winning and converting a penalty to equalize, and was generally excellent throughout his time on the pitch.

Kargas won the race in the end though, picking up 42% of the votes to claim the award.
