Gearing up for Play Offs premiere
The Stoiximan Super League’s regular season ended with a victory in Volos for PAOK and now the interest turns to the Play Offs, where of course everything will be decided in the battle for this season’s title.
The draw saw the Double-headed Eagle pitted against Aris away as their first opponents, and the playing and coaching staff are now turning their full attention to the first of what are essential 10 post-season «finals», before the break for international matches.
The players who were in the starting XI of the match at the Panthessaliko Stadium followed a recovery and recuperation training program. The rest of the group worked with the coaching staff on tactics, while in the last part of the season there was a friendly match played out.
Felipe Soares trained normally with the squad. Ingi Ingason underwent an MRI which showed he has a swelling in his right calf. The Icelander has started treatment and his condition will be assessed daily. Ivan Nasberg also received some treatment, while Jasmin Kurtic and Lefteris Lyratzis worked individually.
On Wednesday (15.03) PAOK will train again at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
