PAOK’s Under-15s draw 1-1 with Aris [with pictures]
PAOK’s Under-15 side were held to only their second draw of the Super League championship after their match with Aris ended 1-1 on Matchday 16 on Saturday in Souroti. They still lead the table in their group with 38 points from 14 games.
The Double-headed Eagle started with gusto and took the lead early in the eighth minute, with Berdos who took advantage of Karagiozis’ pass. Then the home side missed a series of good opportunities, being far too charitble. In the 30th minute, Aris won a penalty which they converted successfully to make it 1-1.
In the 65th minute, PAOK also hit the woodwork with Sidiropoulos the unlucky player. However, that was the last close call of the game and PAOK did not manage to get another goal despite exerting considerable pressure until the final whistle.
