An attacking move straight out of every coach’s dream. A goal which began from the centre circle kick-off, with some excellent passing and movement. A goal that, despite strong competition, managed to win your preference as the Regency Casino Best Goal of January.
The players lined up for the second half kick-off at «Leoforos». PAOK needed only 14 seconds to put the ball in the opposition net. Sastre played to Narey, he moved towards the penalty area before passing to Oliveira, and the Portuguese found Konstantelias with an improbable backheel. Then, without any hesitation, Mr.Breeze played a quick one-touch pass to A.Zivkovic who applied a clinical finish.
The competition for January’s Regency Casino Best Goal was a tough one. Ingason’s scissor-kick at the Toumba against Aris, as well as Taison’s excellent placed effort in the home clash with Panathinaikos were both serious contender for the award, but in the end it was Zile’s goal that gathered 44.88% of the votes to claim the award. The Iceman finished second, with Taison completing the podium.
