The rise and rise of Mr.Breeze
He came into our lives suddenly. And he immediately managed to establish himself. Now, every day he grows more mature in his football. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you the January BOX MVP, Yiannis Konstantelias.
In November and December he made an impression. In January, however, he was the team’s catalyst. Konstantelias destroyed every opposing defense that he came up against, nobody managed to keep him quiet. In contrast, he found himself being applauded by opponents on many occasions, while he scored his first goal for PAOK, as well as serving up an assist.
And unsurprisngly, in the January BOX MVP poll it was Mr.Breeze who collected 67.18% of the votes to win the individual award.
The young ace’s prize is made even bigger by the fact that he had to beat off the challenge of two excellent players who also put in great performances in the first month of the year in the shape of Ingi Ingason and Nelson Oliveira, who came second and third respectively.
