Hard work and trust in the plan
PAOK returned to winning ways in the most emphatic way, beating AEK at the Toumba on Sunday, and now the squad continues their battle to get back into the title race through their own path, which is none other than the team’s football. Players and coaching staff rolled up their sleeves on Tuesday afternoon (21.02) ahead of the difficult match against PAS Ioannina at the Zosimades on Saturday.
The players who were in the starting line-up for the derby win over the Union followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the training pitch, in the gym and in the swimming pool, while the rest of the group had a training session that included a warm-up, possession games, a tactical exercise, and a friendly match.
Omar El Kaddouri followed part of the squad’s full program and then worked individually. Lefteris Lyratzis and Andre Vieirinha also worked alone on the pitches, while Jasmin Kurtic and Nicolas Quagliata stayed in the gym and the swimming pool.
On Wednesday (22.02) PAOK will train again at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
