Under17s win in Agrinio
PAOK’s Under-17 side picked up an important away win in Agrinio on Saturday, defeating Panaitolikos 2-1 to increase their difference at the top of the table in their group.
League -leading PAOK now have 19 points, compared to Panaitolikos’ 15 points, and the next matchday sees Aris visit Souroti.
Tsiapakidis’ and Hagan’s team took the lead in the 44th minute with Avrabos’ header after Kesidis’ corner, and in added time at the end of the half the home team won a penalty, with which they drew level. However, in the 52nd minute, the Double-headed Eagle found a way to score again, this time with Papageorgiou’s shot from inside the six yard box, going on to manage the remainer of the game with patience and quality until the final whistle.
