PAOK battled against the odds and got a very important three points against Levadiakos at the Toumba with a 3-2 victory. The home side took the lead, then conceded a goal from a penalty that should never have been given, took a two-goal lead, but the visitors found a goal in the second half and made it a thriller until the final whistle, with Razvan Lucescu’s side holding on to their advantage until the final whistle.

Thiago Dantas was one of the leading lights for the Double-headed Eagle. The Portuguese midfielder, in addition to his excellent presence in the midfield, scored two beautiful goals in the first half, and it was his performance which largely determined the outcome of the match.

And it comes as no surprise that in the voting for the Fans’ Man of the Match for the game, it was Dantas who collected 63.83% of the votes and won the individual award, leaving the excellent Khaled Narey in second place.
