Under-19’s held to 1-1 draw by Levadiakos
PAOK’s Under-19 side threw away two points after being held to a 1-1 draw by Levadiakos on Wednesday in Souroti.
Malezas’ and Chatziathanasiou’s team remain in top spot, with a narrow lead of one point over Olympiacos, who they host on Sunday.
PAOK were the more actively mobile side overall, but they were not effective enough. They took the lead in the 38th minute with an impressive goal from Goumas, from Gitersos’ assist, but the visitors equalized at the end of the first half. In the second half, PAOK were again the dominant side, creating several good chances to take the lead again, but the hosts could not find that elusive breakthrough and had to settle for a point.
