Konstantelias’ mazy run
Giannis Konstantelias’ solo strike in Nikaia against Ionikos has come out on top in the vote for the nak Play of the Month for November.
He stole the ball from outside the Double-headed Eagle penalty area. And then he just started running… and running forward. Opposition players tried everything they could to stop him, both legitimate and illegitimate ways. But, in the end, they couldn’t. He then passed the ball to Andrija Živkovic, who in turn provided an assist to Douglas Augusto, who found the net with a nice pass.
Giannis Konstantelias swept the November nak Play Of The Month poll, collecting 75% of the vote and taking home yet another individual award.
In second place was… Kostantelias, for his excellent through ball for Augusto in the game against NFC Volos, from where the penalty came that put PAOK in front, and Rafa Soares completed the trio with an assist for his free-kick which allowed Ingason to score in the game against PAS Giannina at the Toumba.
