Kalamata vs. PAOK: Facts & Figures

- PAOK met Kalamata for the second time in the Greek Cup. Their only previous meeting so far took place in the 1990-91 season, when they faced off in the 3rd round of the cup groups in Messinia.
- PAOK left the Kalamata Stadium with the victory, with Giorgos Skartados scoring the two goals for the Double-headed Eagle in the eighth and 21st minutes. Dedes scored for the hosts in the 31st minute.
- The two teams met last on January 28, 2001, when PAOK prevailed 7-1 at the Toumba, a score that equaled their biggest victory in the league which it had achieved also in 1974-75 against Kastoria at the Toumba.
- The biggest victory of PAOK’s history in all competitions was achieved in a Greek Cup match against Lamia when PAOK won 9-1.
- This is the ninth time in total that PAOK face Kalamata away in all competitions, and PAOK’s last victory there was the Greek Cup one in 1990-91. PAOK then played five league games as a visiting side in Messinia and drew all of those matches.
- Their league visits started with a 3-0 win on 31 December 1982, and since then all six league games which took place have all ended in draws.
