PAOK B chalked up their fifth consecutive victory in the Betsson Super League 2 championship, prevailing 3-0 against Iraklis Larissa at the Makedonikos Stadium. The Double-headed Eagle are now on 16 points and maintain their place at the top of their group.

The pitch was a heavy one, and the game was played at a pace that did not favor creative football. PAOK B tried to threaten, of course, and they had two good chances through Ninua and Smyrlis, however the teams went down the tunnel at half-time at 0-0.

The picture was a completely different one in the second half, which started with PAOK clearly the more attacking and threatening side. A good shot by Chatzistravos in the 51st minute, led to a corner in the 52nd minute. The flag-kick was was sent over by Grosdis andthe ball was headed home by Michailidis to make it 1-0. That opening goal paved the way for a flurry of chances, with at least four good scoring chances passed up by Tasiouras (2), Spirakos and Tzimas, among others.

But the second goal finally came in the 86th minute, with Tzimas cutting in from the right before finding Spirakos who in turn then picked out Darelas, who sent the ball into the back of the net from close range. Grosdis made the final score 3-0 in the 89th minute, diverting the ball home from a Michailidis free-kick.
