Konstantinidis’ and Vakoufaris’ young charges began in determined mood, with Kanios breaking the ice with the first goal in the 18th minute from an assist by Tasioulas, Karagiozis doubled the advantage in the 24th minute after receiving a pass from Kanios, and in the 40th minute it was Krommidas who made it 3-0 for PAOK with the assist this time coming from Karagiozis.
The Double-headed Eagle were unstoppable in the second half as well, with Karagiozis scoring twice, in the 72nd and 73rd minutes, both times taking advantage of a pass from Krommidas. Finally, in the 75th minute, Minasidis found Karasavvidis, who made the final score 6-0.
