Five-star Under-17s headed for finals [pictures]
PAOK’s Under-17 youngsters swept past Levadeiakos within 15 minutes of their play-off match and with an emphatic 5-0 secured qualification for the finals of the first phase of the championship.
With four goals from Chatsidis, three assists from Karaioannou and a reverse scissor-kick from Vryzas as the cherry on top of the cake, Tsiapakidis’ and Hagan’s team left zero room for a response from the visitors.
The home side were agead in the second minute, Chatsidis scoring for 1-0 from the assist by Karaioannou, then in the 10th minute he struck again to make it 2-0 from the assist of Politakis, and in the 14th minute he beat the goalkeeper wonderfully for his third personal goal – with Karaioannou once again providing the assist.
In the second half, Karaioannou and Chatsidis combined to make it 4-0 in the 53rd minute, and finally, in the 90th minute, Kesidis found Vryzas who scored with a superb acrobatic effort tro make the final score 5-0.
