Under-15 side score opening day win
PAOK’s Under-15 team produced an accomplished performance in their Super League opener against Volos, beating the local side 4-0 with ease, playing some attractive football. Konstantinidis’ and Vakoufaris’ young charges could also have had more goals as they hit the woodwork, but that mattered not as the three points were comfortably secured.
PAOK took only five minutes to open the scoring with Berdos setting up Toursounidis who found the back of the net. Afterwards, the visitors had the absolute superiority of the match, but did not find their full effectiveness until the second half.
In the 63rd minute Sidiropoulos extended the lead to make it 2-0 from Berdos’ assist, and in the 65th minute Toursounidis scored the third goal for the Double-headed Eagle with a direct free-kick. Finally, in the 70th minute, Georgiadis rounded off the scoring to make it 4-0 to PAOK.
