PAOK B’s pre-season preparations continue in Thessaloniki
With the rationale of conserving forces and absorbing the shocks that a long-term pre-season preparation period can bring – given the looming delay in the start of the Super League 2 championship – PAOK B continues to prepare nonetheless at their Souroti training base.
The squad is as much ready as possible – although there are a few pending matters, one of them being the Nigerian Jude – the international players (including Marovic and those who were away for a few days with the Greece Under-19 squad, are returning to training. With the exception of Salamouras and Apostolopoulos who are coming back from injuries, everyone else is at the coaching staff’s disposal.
Tomorrow, Friday (26.08), in fact, PAOK B plays its first friendly in Thessaloniki, facing Kampaniakos at the Makedonikos stadium (the match will be played behind closed doors – both relating to fans and media representatives).
After Thursday’s afternoon training, the coaching staff decided to include the following players in their squad: Talichmanidis, Tsioptsis, Zilos, Manoliudis, Selimai, Kitsakis, Giaxis, Tsopouroglou, Meletidis, Rumiantsev, Koutentakis, Darela, Koulouri, Hatzistravos, Panidis, Brandonits, Fasidis, Spyridis, Gordeziani, while Koutsias, Ricardo, and Tsingaras are stepping in to the squad temporarily from the senior squad for PAOK B’s two upcoming friendlies so that they can get ome match practice.
After the training friendly against Kampaniakos, they will play Panserraikos in Serres on 28.08, and then against Veria in Souroti on 01.09, before meeting Panserraikos again on 04.09 and then with Makedonikos on 17.09 at the Makedonikos Stadium.
