Attack, defence and… running
While there was only a single training session scheduled for Friday (June 24), the coaching staff ensured it felt like a double one with a packed program of work in all areas.
Let’s have a round-up of what the players have been getting up to in Nea Mesimvria. Firstly there were some warm ups through various exercises and running drills, then some possession games came after. Afterwards, the players worked in groups on both defensive and offensive aspects of their game. There was also time for a mini-friendly clash, and of course, lots of running!
The squad continue their hard work before leaving for the Netherlands for the main stage of their pre-season preparation, with Andre Vieirinha also coming out of the gym and onto the training pitches for some running exercises as part of his ongoing rehabilitation.
On Saturday (25.06) the double training sessions continue at 09:30 and at 18:30 at the Double-headed Eagle’s training base.
