It was an incredible six-year journey, which as Fernando Varela himself said, has been full of great moments. The epilogue to his experience at the Toumba was written with the standing ovation and the outpour of emotion from the big man. PAOK’s supporters showed their appreciation for The Beast’s contribution and gave him one last applause at the club’s famous home.
The Cape Verdean defender could not hide his emotions and just moments later he spoke to the PAOK TV cameras to review his career with the club.
