A three-point haul with some stunning goals [with pictures]

Teo wonderful second-half goals saw PAOK B prevail 2-0 over Larissa at the Makedonikos Stadium on Matchday 33 of the Betsson Super League 2.

The match itself as a whole was a great spectacle. It had a good tempo, plenty of chances, and both sides showed the appetite for playing good football, with those supporters who decided to take in the match leaving satisfied with what they saw. PAOK B dominated the game for long spells and were also effective, taking all three points.

In the first haklf, both teams had a good chance albeit without finding the net. The home side gradually upped their level of performance and were the team that looked most likely to score, creating the most significant opportunities until the break, with the highlight being a shot by Salamouras which struck the crossbar in the 39th minute.

PAOK B came out even more determined in the second half and threatened from the first whistle through Panidis. In the 56th minute, it was Tachatos who finally provided the breakthrough for the hosts.

The full-back pinched possession on the outside the Larissa penalty area, and he made it 1-0 with an excellent shot from the edge of the box.

Larissa proceeded to make four changes in order to try and freshen their attacking options, and in the final 20 minutes the visitors managed to pen the hosts in their own half, but without any end result on their part.

PAOK B even managed to lock up the points with a second goal in the 87th minute when Tzimas shot was saved by Theodoropoulos, with the ball falling kindly for Chatzistravos to score on the rebound with a header.

PAOK’s second string therefore wrapped up their home fixtures of this year’s Super League 2, with their final match being next Sunday’s trip to face Apollon Larissa away from home.
