Injury bulletin for Giannis Michailidis
Giannis Michailidis injured his left knee in the match against PAS Giannina at the Toumba. On Monday (14.03) lunchtime, the Double-headed Eagle’s central defender underwent an MRI scaen to investigat the extent of the injury.
The results have showed that he has suffered a total rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, a rupture through the meniscus, and a second-degree injury to the medial lateral ligament.
His condition will be assessed in detail in the coming days and the timing for when the injury will be treated surgically will be decided.
His absence from match action is estimated to be about six months.
