Under-15 side grab narrow win [with pictures]
PAOK’s Under-15 team completred their Super League regular season in an ideal way with a 1-0 win over Olympiacos on Saturday in Souroti.
Orfanos and Bikas’ team finished top of the table with a difference of six points ahead of second-placed Olympiacos, recording 12 wins, one defeat and one draw. PAOK’s youngsters are now already starting their preparations for the Final Four tournament that will take place on March 19.
The winning goal for PAOK was scored by Dunga in the 10th minute with a cross-shot. The Double-headed Eagle were in control in the first 45 minutes, but did come under some pressure in the second half. Despite that, however, the home side held firm to their lead, and even came very close to scoring a second goal through Drigakis shortly before the final whistle.
